Another Rubbish Morning Out

A huge thanks to all the parents and carers who came to join us for Another Rubbish Morning Out.  It was a huge success and the Eco Ninjas have been busy making posters about the effects of dropping litter which we hope to have displayed in our community soon! If you would like to see our presentation and speech from the Litter Pick, please click on the links below.

Thanks – The Eco Ninjas.

We agree that for Prestonfield to be the very best it can be, our children have to have a HUGE say in the work and life of the school. We have many pupil led groups and forums to help us achieve this aim but one of the most powerful ways of ensuring pupil voice in everything we do is through pupil led ‘committees’.

These committees are formed in line with our school improvement priorities, learning for sustainability and children’s interests-this year we have had ECO, Health, International and Safety Committees.

Children in P1-P3 are members of Learning Communities, where children develop their co-operative learning skills so that they can then contribute effectively and with confidence when they join the Committees an active part in from P4 to P7. We use two assemblies during the year to share the Committee work and achievements with everyone.
